The DSP Team
Drew Spears
The founder of DSPStudioLA, Drew Spears brings nearly two decades of experience as a comedy performer, writer and producer to push the boundaries of what is possible in live streaming and video production. One of his credits includes voicing a Russian Herring in the English dub of "Super Furball", a Finnish children's film about a heroic Hamster
Chad Bond
DSP's Head of Production, Chad does it all. Live directing, lighting, camera operating and even editing, Chad has always had a passion for filmmaking. He enjoys spending his time with his wife and collecting more hobbies than he has the time for.
Charlie Kanter
Charlie is our Lead Administrator at DSPStudioLA. They love to help out whether it's assisting the livestream, hopping behind a camera, or welcoming prospective clients to the studio. She's a recent college grad who enjoys the simple things like Drag Race, writing gay poetry, and teasing her millennial coworkers.
David Massie
David is our Facilities Manager but also dabbles in many aspects of production including lighting, audio, and camera operating. He is also an accomplished comedian who will keep spirits up during even the toughest job.
Elisabeth McKeon
Joining DSP as Equipment Manager, Elisabeth imposed order and clarity upon a studio where chaos reigned. Analog video, live music and bees can be counted amongst her interests as well as hustling projects as writer, camera operator and gaffer. Elisabeth committed a string of high profile fraudulent cheque scams in the mid-1970s under the pseudonym "Frank Abagnale".
Alec Scholzen
With over two decades of experience filming and editing skate videos, Alec has developed a uniquely refined sense of pace, rhythm, and timing as DSP's Lead Editor. His work as an editor can be described as energetic and precise. As a long time performer at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, they can also proudly call themselves "funny enough".
